Join this enthusiastic group of talented gardeners in creating your own “spring inspired” arrangement. The gardeners will help you create a colorful arrangement to take home or give as a gift. NORTH AND SOUTH RIVER WATERSHED ASSOCIATION: TIMING THE TIDES / A GUIDE TO PADDLING ON THE RIVERS

The North and South Rivers Watershed Association will be offering presentations at the Senior Center. This presentation is for people who enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding and want to learn how to paddle in these tidal rivers by knowing how to ‘Time the Tides’ to safely paddle and learn where to launch their boats. Art For Your Mind is an engaging, educational, art observation experience designed to broaden the minds of its participants. Presentations are for people of all backgrounds – artists and non-artists alike. The featured topic, Gustave Caillebotte, the Unknown Impressionist, explores the amazing talent of this lesser-known artist, and follows his years of support and financial backing of the most famous Impressionist painters. DELVENA THEATRE COMPANY PRESENTS: JACK THE RIPPER

History comes alive – one more time – with the infamous Jack the Ripper – the identity of whom was never known! Learn the details of the ghastly murders of five women from London in 1888. Meet the top suspects in the murders. The audience will have the opportunity to question each of the suspects and draw their own conclusion as to who the “real” Jack the Ripper was. Let’s solve this case once and for all! The cast will open up to the audience at the end of the show for a lively discussion. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Marshfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Registration began April 1. GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP 4 WEEK SESSION

This is a 4 Week Grief Support Group with lead Hospice Chaplain and End of Life Doula Peter-Michael Preble, PhD, EOLD, of CROI Health Norwell. This group begins meeting on Thursday, May 14 and will meet on May 21, June 4 and June 11. The grief support group will gather in a quiet, welcoming space, where people can come carrying stories that are often too heavy to hold alone. Peter’s pastoral presence shapes the tone of the gathering. He does not rush grief or try to fix it, but instead holds space with patience, wisdom, and a deep respect for each person’s journey. Mass Audubon presents The Feeding Techniques of Birds

One of the most impressive things about birds is their ability to locate and process food. Whether it’s the Chickadees’ ability to increase its memory capacity for caching seeds, an owl’s ability to isolate non-digestible components of its prey or a migrating Blackpoll Warbler capacity to nearly double its, weight prior to migration, birds are amazing eaters. “Taking Control of your Future” through The Mass Bar’s Elder Law Education

We’ll share the natural beauty of these tidal Rivers and estuaries, and their salt marshes, which serve as nurseries of life for our oceans, provide flood storage and are home to many species. History at Play – Live Performance and Educational Lecture – on Rendezvous with Rachel Revere

It is May 2, 1775 and Rachel Revere has only heard from her beloved husband Paul once since his legendary midnight ride on the 18th of April. Still isolated from one another due to the Siege of Boston, Rachel desperately tries to create a plan to safely take her children: six stepchildren from Paul’s first marriage and a newborn baby of their own, from the reach of the British Regular Army in Boston. In this program, you will help Rachel as she carefully considers the dangers and demands of each plan. Find out if Rachel is successful in her perilous mission to unite her family, amidst the wake of an American Revolution. History at Play was founded in 2010 by Artistic Director Judith Kalaora offering solo and ensemble programs with an emphasis on Women’s History.
