Bow Making with Kathy

Kathy will expertly take you through the steps of bow making for your favorite holiday wreath or other items. THE NANCY CARR TRIO: HOLIDAY MUSIC PERFORMANCE

Charles Dickens’ classic: A Christmas Carol With Stephen Collins and Poornima Kirby

POP UP ART PRESENTS: FELTED WREATH BROOCH

FRANKLY SPEAKING, NANCY FRANK: THE CALIFORNIA GOLD RUSH

This presentation has audiences on the edge of their seats. We turn the calendar back to 1849 to meet Massachusetts residents who traveled to San Francisco in hopes of striking it rich. Enchanted Village and Holiday Laser Show, Jordan's Furniture
Tuesday, December 30. Bus departs from the COA at 10:30 am /Village at 11:00 am
The Enchanted Village is an annual holiday tradition that goes back to the 1960’s and 1970’s when it was located in downtown Boston inside the Jordan Marsh department store. Enjoy a stroll through the village followed by a ticket to the see the dazzling holiday laser show in the Imagination Theatre. Have a bite at Montillio’s Bakery, along with the original Jordan Marsh Blueberry Muffins available for sale. Bus will depart back to the Senior Center around 2:30 pm. Advanced sign up is required. First Responder/Emergency Training

This training course will arm you with the basics on how to perform CPR, use an AED Machine, and administer Narcan. In addition, there will be a component on Choking Relief. This invaluable training will provide attendees with an awareness and working knowledge of these techniques so that if the moment arises, you can take immediate action, and possible save a life. Lifelong Learning: Wintermission Kick-Off Registration

Pop Up Art Presents: Felted Winter Countryside
January 21 at 1:00 pm
Craft a charming winter scene featuring a cozy home in a snowy countryside. Using a barbed felting needle, you'll shape and layer the wool to create a wintry landscape scene nestled into a terra-cotta saucer, creating a frame for the artwork. Learn the joy of needle felting with Pop up Art School in a friendly environment. You'll gain the basic skills of needle felting, walking away with a finished piece, and the confidence to continue your felting journey independently. Cost $10. Advanced sign up is required.
