COVID TESTS UPDATE - The federal government has restarted the distribution of home covid tests via the postal service. People can request tests at www.Covidtests.gov. They will send out 4 tests per household. If you need help placing an order, please call 1-800-232-0233.
DROP IN BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING on Tuesday, April 9 from 10:00am - 11:00am, on Friday, April 19 from 9:00am - 1:00pm and on Wednesday, April 17 from 10:00am - 12:00pm. A nurse will be at the Senior Center on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 10:00 am until 11:00 am from South Shore VNA. Marshfield Fire will be the 3rd Friday from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. Drop in, no appointments necessary.
HEARING AID CLEANING & FREE SCREENING on Friday, April 12 from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. At Home Hearing Healthcare is a mobile Hearing Instrument Specialist team with over 30 years’ experience. They specialize in detecting and resolving issues with hearing loss and will be offering hearing evaluations at the Senior Center to determine the presence of hearing loss. If a hearing loss is detected, the individual will be advised regarding next steps for pursuing proper treatment. For an appointment, call the Senior Center at 781-834-5581 or stop by the front desk.
MONTHLY CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP on Tuesday, April 30 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. This is an opportunity to meet fellow caregivers, share resources, experiences, successes and concerns. No prior sign up required. Group meets every month on the last Tuesday at the Senior Center.
MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT - The Senior Center has a supply of adult incontinence products available as well as medical supplies and durable medical equipment. Please call the Center at 781-834-5581 or stop by the front desk and ask for Lisa.
CHAIR MESSAGE AND REIKI W/MARYANN on Mondays from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Healing sessions for aches and pains. Relax to music with chair massage or reiki on a massage chair. Session are done fully clothed and booked for 15, 30 or 45 minute sessions. Non-touch healing sessions for relaxation and well-being take place in a specially designed chair, fully clothed, while listening to relaxing music and are booked in 15 minute increments with 5 minutes between for cleaning.
