DROP-IN WATERCOLOR PAINTING STUDIO on Mondays at 12:30 pm.  Watercolor painting drop in studio, ALL LEVELs welcome, from beginners on up.  Facilitated by Jeanne Brouillette.  Enjoy painting with a relaxed group of people learning and painting with watercolors.  Work from photos, from still life set up, or bring your current watercolor painting to work on. Suggested donation $5


ART OF FILM CLASS presents "One Special Night" on Thursday, January 12 at 12:30 pm.  “Julie Andrews and James Garner play opposites who [are] stranded together in a vacant cabin during a snowstorm in this sentimental romance.”  The “Special Night” is actually Christmas Eve, but the story is about older people who cross paths into a second chance. What a way to start the New Year! You are really going to enjoy this film. ~ Heather Kaval


ART FOR YOUR MIND PRESENTS “American Art Explored” on Tuesday, January 10 at 1:00 pm. The featured topic, American Art Explored, offers a way to experience American paintings from colonial times to today. From early folk art paintings to surprising realism, then onto modern abstract images—visualize not only America’s growth and change, but also America’s developing artistic styles through time. CALLING ALL ACTORS/PERFORMERS on Friday, January 20 at 11:00 am.  Are you a bit of a ham? Join us for a Table Reading from dramatic or comedic pieces—bring your own or we will foist one on you. A ton of laughs and some stage tears. Advance sign up appreciated.


POETRY CLUB on Friday, January 27 at 11:00 am.  Join facilitator Rich Hansen for this monthly gathering of people who love poetry by poets ranging from Longfellow to Amanda Gorman! Group typically meets on the last Friday of the month. Share your thoughts and opinions in this fun, interactive group. All welcome!


ART STUDIO on Tuesdays from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm.  Facilitated by Joan Herman. All mediums welcome. Pick up your paints, paper and canvas and come to the Senior Center to paint in a bright and spacious room. Start painting again or try painting for the first time in a supportive and friendly environment. Bring your own favorite materials. 


WATERCOLOR CLASS W/GAYLE on Fridays from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm.  Classes are with Gayle Loik, and on the last Friday of the month, they will be with Betty Rogers. This class is for the more experienced water color artist. We will have more emphasis on composition and on developing your own ideas through drawing, quick thumbnails and painting from observation. Some Gouache may be used. The cost is $15 and any questions can go to [email protected]


FREE AND EASY PAINTING on Fridays from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Bring your own project; no instruction provided but assistance by Fred Dolan available.


LEARN TO DRAW WITH TESS WEBSTER (Drawing on the right side of your brain) on Thursdays from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm . CLASSES WILL RESUME JANUARY 5 From free hand drawing to mechanical drawing, we will cover it all! Pencils, Charcoal, Pen and Ink, a Little Color, Anatomy, Still Life, Action, Portraits and Occasional Live Model, Draw What You See NOT What You Think You See, Shapes, Lines, Shadows, Placement, Perspective.  Drop in! Classes are continuous. Cost: $10 per class
