ART OF FILM CLASS presents "Mama Mia" on Thursday, June 8 at 12:30 pm.  Watching/experiencing this musical comedy is so much fun.  The storyline is somewhat captivating, and   the music of   ABBA with Meryl Streep, Pierce Bosnan, Colin Firth, Christine Baranski and other outstanding performers is terrific!  Irresistible!    Come!  Sing along with the fabulous music. ART FOR YOUR MIND PRESENTS “The Art of France” on Tuesday, June 13 at 1:00 pm.   Art For Your Mind is an engaging, educational, art observation experience designed to broaden the minds of its participants. Programs are for people of all backgrounds – artists and non-artists alike. The featured topic, The Art of France, showcases some of France’s most prominent artists as well as art trends from the past several centuries, Baroque, Romanticism, and Impressionism to name a few. Come away with a renewed sense of the impact and importance of France’s contributions to the art world. POETRY CLUB on Friday, June 30 at 11:00 am.  Join facilitator Rich Hansen for this monthly gathering of people who love poetry by poets ranging from Longfellow to Amanda Gorman! Group typically meets on the last Friday of the month. Share your thoughts and opinions in this fun, interactive group. All welcome!


SUMMER DROP-IN BEGINNER WATERCOLOR on Mondays from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.   Summer is a great time to try something new!  Try your hand at watercolors at this class for beginners facilitated by Jeanne Brouillette. Bring your own watercolor materials and enjoy learning to paint with a relaxed group of people learning and painting with watercolors.  Materials list available at the COA desk. Cost: $10 per session. Limit 15. 


DROP-IN WATERCOLOR PAINTING STUDIO on Mondays at 12:30 pm.  Watercolor painting drop in studio, ALL LEVELs welcome, from beginners on up.  Facilitated by Jeanne Brouillette.  Enjoy painting with a relaxed group of people learning and painting with watercolors.  Work from photos, from still life set up, or bring your current watercolor painting to work on. Suggested donation $5.


ART STUDIO on Tuesdays from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm.  Facilitated by Joan Herman. All mediums welcome. Pick up your paints, paper and canvas and come to the Senior Center to paint in a bright and spacious room. Start painting again or try painting for the first time in a supportive and friendly environment. Bring your own favorite materials. 


WATERCOLOR CLASS W/GAYLE on Fridays from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm.  Classes are with Gayle Loik, and on the last Friday of the month, they will be with Betty Rogers. This class is for the more experienced water color artist. We will have more emphasis on composition and on developing your own ideas through drawing, quick thumbnails and painting from observation. Some Gouache may be used. The cost is $15 and any questions can go to [email protected]


FREE AND EASY PAINTING on Fridays from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Bring your own project; no instruction provided but assistance by Fred Dolan available.


LEARN TO DRAW WITH TESS WEBSTER (Drawing on the right side of your brain) on Thursdays from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm .  From free hand drawing to mechanical drawing, we will cover it all! Pencils, Charcoal, Pen and Ink, a Little Color, Anatomy, Still Life, Action, Portraits and Occasional Live Model, Draw What You See NOT What You Think You See, Shapes, Lines, Shadows, Placement, Perspective.  Drop in! Classes are continuous. Cost: $10 per class  


IMAGINATION IN PAINTING on Tuesdays from 1:00 pm - 3:15 pm. All mediums welcome. Facilitated by Fred Dolan. Come see what your mind is capable of.  Let Fred help you find your passion for painting. Suggested donation $10. Walk-ins welcome.
