Are you a crafter or artist with a project you are working on? Come enjoy time at the Senior Center. We will hold aside a “Maker Space”, a dedicated space for crafting or projects on a drop-in basis. Come work on your own thing in the company of others who are doing their own thing. Limited Space.

ART FOR YOUR MIND :THE ART OF FRANCE

Tuesday, October 13 at 1:00pm

Art For Your Mind is an engaging, educational, art observation experience designed to broaden the minds of its participants. Presentations are for people of all backgrounds – artists and non-artists alike. The featured topic, The Art of France, showcases some of France’s most prominent artists as well as art trends from the past several centuries, Baroque, Romanticism, and Impressionism to name a few. Come away with a renewed sense of the impact and importance of France’s contributions to the art world. Join local art historian Jill Sanford for an enjoyable hour of challenging yourself to see in new ways! Please call the Senior Center at 781-834-5581 to sign up. $2 suggested donation at the door.

ART STUDIO WITH JOAN HERMAN

All mediums welcome. Pick up your paints, paper and canvas and join us in a bright and spacious room. Start painting again or try painting for the first time in a supportive, friendly environment. Bring your own favorite materials. Free

WATERCOLOR CLASS

Fridays from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Classes are with Jeanne Brouillette on weeks 1 & 3, Gayle Loik on week 2 and Betty Rogers on week 4. This class is for the more experienced watercolor artist with more emphasis on composition. Some Still Life may be set up and many tips and tricks to enhance your painting experience.  Cost: $15 per class.

LEARN TO DRAW WITH TESS

Learn to draw The Human Body, Faces, Shapes, Shadows, Perspective, and Form. Learn the Why’s and How’s. Drop in and join us every Thursday. Cost is $10 per class.
