South Coastal Counties Legal Services, Inc. (SCCLS) is a nonprofit corporation that provides free civil legal services to low income families, elders, victims of crime, and people with disabilities in our communities. Our service area is Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Nantucket, and Plymouth Counties and the Towns of Avon and Stoughton in Norfolk County. With your support, SCCLS works toward our mission to achieve equal justice for the poor and disadvantaged through community based legal advocacy. SCCLS provides free civil legal services in the areas of housing law, family law, government benefits including Social Security disability, elder law, education law, and consumer law. SCCLS has staff who speak Portuguese, Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole, French, and Arabic. SCCLS provides other interpretation services when needed to assist clients that speak other languages. |
